Express Yourself With a 3D Animated Character From Gizmoz
I’ve been having fun creating animated characters of myself with Gizmoz. All I had to do was upload a headshot of myself and then customize it with hair, facial and body graphics supplied by Gizmo. After creating my Gizmoz I then was able to create clips, an answering machine and stickers. Below is one of the clips I made. I recorded my own voice for this one using a line from a Lily Allen song that describes how I feel today.
According to Gizmoz,
characters can be fashioned either as a self-portrait starting from a single personal photo, or created using images from the Gizmoz library, all in just a matter of minutes. The result is a customized digital character that consumers can use to deliver personalized, lip-synched messages in video clips and other forms of original content.
The characters your create can be used on social networking sites like Myspace, blogs and through email. You can also download them onto your computer and use them as wallpaper or send them off to friends. Here is one I downloaded.
There are different characters you can chose from or build your own. There is a point system where you are given 500 free points. Some of the graphics are free, others will cost you some of your points.
So, go have some fun and create a Gizmoz of yourself.
