Fill Up Your Social Calendar With HeyLetsGo
Do you live near or in Boston, New York or San Francisco? Are you looking for social events and people who are attending? Then HeyLetsGo is worth joining to start filling up your social calendar. I live outside of Boston so this site is ideal for me. With the holiday season in full swing the events calendar on HeyLetsGo is pretty jammed packed, especially on the weekends. I’ve already marked a couple of events that I am interested in attending and plan on searching out more with people who have similar interests to my own.
HeyLetsGo is geared towards professional people looking for activities outside of work, single people wanting to hook up with others at social events, and couples who want more to do than just dinner and a movie. I noticed that in the Boston area there is a diverse group of people ranging in age from 20s, 30s and 40s. The events are just as diverse from comedy to salsa dancing to charity events and black-tie balls.
It’s easy to join HeyLetsGo and set up a profile. Then all that needs to be done is find fun things to do. HeyLetsGo lets you search events by time, distance and popularity. They also have editors’ picks and the ability to see how popular an event was in the past. You can easily see who else is planning on going to an event and you can sign up for an event or note that you may be going. If you are so inclined, you can set up and organize an event for members to attend. Lastly, you can find people with similar interests as yours and join groups.
HeyLetsGo is not just for filling up your social calendar but is a great social networking site as well. You can post blog updates, add photos, add friends and have your own HeyLetsGo weblink to allow others who are not members see what you are up to (and hopefully join the community). You can view my profile at http://heyletsgo.com/infomaniac.
I really like the layout and the simplicity of HeyLetsGo, especially where it handles a great many social events. I hope that they plan to expand into more cities so that more people are inclined to fill up their social calendars. I may even venture out this New Year’s Eve and check out one of the parties listed on the site!
