Happy Father’s Day

This post serves a dual purpose. First of all, happy father’s day to all you dads out there. It’s a beautiful day here in Massachusetts and a great day to go visit with dad and celebrate all that he has given to his children over the years.
My dad is 80 years old, a former educator, founder and past publisher of an educational publishing company, a magician at heart AND the father of 8 children!
You can visit his website Magic Goodies which was designed by my brother Ed.
The second reason for this post is I am trying out the blog function from Flickr. You can set up your Flickr account with your blog(s) and post pictures directly from Flickr with a post. I want to see if it takes the HTML code for my father’s website or if I am going to have to edit this post back in Wordpress. You can format the post by picture size and position but there are no other formatting options. After I post this I will add an edit about whether the HTML came through or not.
So, once again — Happy Father’s Day!
EDIT: The HTML code did come through which is nice. I wish that in the blog settings on Flickr you could select the category for the post and more formatting options. It’s nice though that I can post directly from Flickr if I want to just do a quick post about a photo.
