Here’s How to Digg into the Internet

Do you wonder what is hot on the Internet in the areas of technology, science, world & business, sports, videos, entertainment, and gaming?  Want to know what stories people “digg” and feel are the most popular?  If you are not familiar with the website Digg then check out Neil Patel’s post on the Beginner’s Guide to Digg.

Digg is comprised of articles submitted and voted on my their community.  It’s a “user driven social content website.”  Once you are a member you can submit articles that you think will be of interest to the community.  If people “digg” your article they vote for it.  The articles with the most votes are promoted to the front page.  Uninteresting articles or user-submitted spam are buried.

I browse the latest headlines from Digg in the areas of technology, world & business and entertainment.  I follow them through RSS feeds on my Netvibes page.  It’s a great way for me to keep up on the latest news, especially in the world of technology.

So, if you know little or nothing at all about Digg I suggest you read Neil’s informative post - Beginner’s Guide to Digg.  He writes about how to submit an article, digging articles, some useful features and additional resources.
