Put Your Life On Postcards With Zimoz
Wouldn’t it be nice to convey your day to your friends and family with a postcard with a photo or video and a bit of text? Somedays I just want to let people know I’d rather be fishing… I came across Zimoz today and it lets you create and store personal postcards with photos, video, clipart and text with a very easy-to-use interface. I created this postcard below in just a few minutes by uploading a photo of Jack, my cat, creating a banner and then typing in a little text.
It’s easy to email a postcard to people in your address book if you are using hotmail, Yahoo mail, Google mail or if you use Plaxo (basic version is free) to access your address book from your computer. I sent the above card out to a few of my friends and family very quickly and have marked my postcard for public viewing where people can post a comment about it if they like.
It’s nice to be able to put something together so quickly to express just how I am feeling. It’s so easy it’s something I could do each day to express myself, like a mini personal blog. Imagine what I could do if I spent a little more time? Maybe tomorrow. Right now I think I’ll check out some of the postcards other people have made and get inspired.
