Red, White, Blue Song Celebrates the American Flag
My brother Ed has written a song and put together a slide show to celebrate the American Flag and put it up on a website, aptly named, Red, White, Blue Song. He wrote this song after the September 11th 2001 because he felt a strong, patriotic urge to convey how he felt about the people who are committed to protecting our country. My brother puts it simply,
The song is a celebration of the very individuals that assure we sleep safely at night while they put their lives on the line everyday to protect ourselves and our families.
In some of the images a young man is shown who happens to be our nephew Mike Bliss who is with the 82nd Airborne. He has served over in Afghanistan and Iraq and currently is stationed at Fort Bragg. Our family is very proud of his commitment to protecting our country.
Ed has a background in elementary education and he plans on distributing Red, White, Blue song to schools around the nation. If you like the site please pass it along to family, friends, any teachers you may know and to children you think would enjoy it.
My sister Libby helped Ed financially make his dream of creating this multimedia presentation. Check out Libby’s Gallery to see how wonderful an artist she is (I have a very talented family). Ed designed her website along with others that you can view at James Edward Moore.
I want to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July.
