GasBuddy web sites allow motorists to share information about low priced fuel with others as well as target the lowest priced stations to save money when filling up at the pumps!

Are you tired of dealing with rising gasoline prices? Are you looking for the easiest way to find the lowest gas prices in your area? makes the quest for the lowest gas prices a simple process and offers fairly current gas prices posted by its members. Actually, gives more than just gas prices but everything a gasoline connoisseur needs at their fingertips. Right away I was able to see what the average price of gas is today ($3.20 in U.S.), what it was a week, month and year ago, that New Jersey has the lowest gas prices and a variety of menu options that show maps and historical price charts.

For the average user of the site though, the one who just wants to know where to get the lowest priced gas, all you need to do is enter your zip code and a list of gas stations and their prices is displayed. Gas prices come from members so you may find that your town doesn’t have any data. If that is the case, in the left sidebar there are more options to choose from to see if there is another area nearby that has gas data.

If you are on the road you can get gas prices by sending a text message to gas@gasbuddy.com with your zip code, town or state and within a few minutes receive a message with the lowest gas prices in your area. is a collection of 179 gas price information websites for areas all over the U.S. and Canada. They rely on gas prices being supplied by its members which limits data but on the flip side provides some of the most current prices. If you are a conscientious consumer you can join GasBuddy and enter in the gas prices to help others in your area. Lastly, it always seems as Memorial Day approaches in the U.S. that gas prices rise. So, I looked at a 24 month historical map that shows some interesting data. Gas prices seem to rise just before Memorial Day and Labor Day, two holidays where there is a lot of automobile traveling.
