Site Changes
Just a quick note to let everyone know that I have been working on changing the front end of Infomania World getting rid of the XOOPs content management systems and relying mostly on WordPress to run my site. Unfortunately while moving from XOOPs to WordPress any previous comments made on my blog are merged into the post meaning that any backlinks are lost. Sorry to all who have left comments but it was a price I had to pay for moving my WordPress blog out of XOOPs.
I have some work to do over the next few days including categorizing posts and uploading images that were lost even though I had a backup of my data. I’m a bit perplexed by losing the images, maybe they will miraculously reappear as quickly as they disappeared. I’m just happy I still have my posts.
So begins a new chapter for Confessions of an Infomaniac. I am hoping to add more video and audio to my posts now that I have the most current version of WordPress, something I didn’t have under XOOPs.
Please bear with me as the site changes. If you run into any problems, leave a comment for me or use my contact form to let me know the issue.
