Watch Premium Programming With Joost
For the past month I have been enjoying watching Internet TV with Joost, an application that streams TV-like programming directly to your computer. In order to use Joost you need a broadband connection (DSL or cable), the faster your connection the better your video quality. On my DSL connection I get a pretty decent picture though when I run it full screen I tend to get some pixelation. Otherwise, in a smaller window, I get a better broadcast picture than with my TV tuner card.
About Joost

The best description for Joost comes from Joost itself…

Programming

Right now I am watching the Green Day Channel which contains content from the band Green Day. There is a lot of music content on Joost as well as sports, nature and independent films. Recently Joost partnered up with Viacom and will be providing programming from MTV, BET and Paramount Pictures. Some of the channels Joost already offers are
National Geographic - programming from National Geographic.
Lime - programming about healthy foods, personal growth, stress management, physical fitness and such.
Saturday Morning TV - cartoons from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
